Für unser Designbüro in Bamberg suchen wir eine:n Junior Product Designer:in, der/die Lust hat zu lernen, mitzugestalten und Schritt für Schritt Verantwortung zu übernehmen.

Deine Aufgaben

Mitarbeit an der Entwicklung neuer Kinderprodukte — von der ersten Idee bis zur Umsetzung
Unterstützung bei der Übersetzung kreativer Konzepte in sichere, langlebige und nachhaltige Produkte
Erstellung von Skizzen, Renderings und einfachen 3D-Modellen zur visualisierten Darstellung von Ideen
Mitwirkung bei Materialrecherchen und ersten Konstruktionsansätzen (Holz, Kunststoff, Textil, Mischmaterialien)
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Design-, Technik- und Produktionsteam, um Konzepte optimal umzusetzen
Beobachtung von Trends in Kinderkultur, Spielverhalten, Materialinnovation und Produktdesign
Unterstützung bei der Weiterentwicklung und nachhaltigen Optimierung bestehender Produktlinien

Dein Profil

Erste praktische Erfahrung im Produkt- oder Industriedesign (Studium, Praktika oder erste Berufserfahrung)
Begeisterung für physische Produkte und kindzentriertes Design
Grundkenntnisse in Materialien wie Holz, Kunststoff oder Textil
Erfahrung mit 2D/3D-Tools (z. B. Adobe CC, Rhino oder vergleichbar)
Strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Lust, dich weiterzuentwickeln
Teamgeist und Offenheit für Feedback
Gute Deutsch- und/oder Englischkenntnisse

For our design studio in Bamberg, we are looking for a Junior Product Designer who is eager to learn, contribute and gradually take on responsibility.

We are a team that takes design seriously: high standards, strong energy, fast decisions and genuine passion for product development shape our daily work.

Your mission

Contribute to the development of new children’s products — from initial idea to final implementation
Support the translation of creative concepts into safe, durable and sustainable products
Create sketches, renderings and simple 3D models to visualize ideas
Assist with material research and initial construction approaches (wood, plastic, textiles, mixed materials)
Collaborate closely with our design, engineering and production teams to ensure optimal implementation
Monitor trends in children’s culture, play behavior, material innovation and product design
Support the further development and sustainable optimization of existing product lines

Your profile

Initial practical experience in product or industrial design (studies, internships or first professional experience)
Passion for physical products and child-centered design
Basic knowledge of materials such as wood, plastic or textiles
First experience with 2D/3D tools (e.g. Adobe CC, Rhino or comparable)
Structured way of working and eagerness to develop further
Strong team spirit and openness to feedback
Good German and/or English language skills
Please include a portfolio with relevant work in your application.
